The ceiling: Row 1; Anything still in the top row when a row rises is crushed. It is the only way to lose.
Combo window: 2.6s · 9× cap; Merge again before it closes and the multiplier climbs. Stall and it drops to 1×.
Charge & vent: 1 per rise; A full meter blows out the bottom row. It buys space, not time — the timer keeps running.
Overcharge: 2× meter; Keep merging past full and the vent becomes a Surge, worth two rows. Holding it is a bet: twice the room, no valve while you wait.
